Computers at RC Offices

As an RC agent, it’s up to you to buy and take care of your own computer, and keeping it updated is super important for your day-to-day work.

At Realty Concepts, we’ve got open PC workstations at almost every location that you can use whenever you need to quickly write up an offer or print something on the go. These workstations also let you print from the bypass tray using special paper like cardstock, labels, etc. Just make sure to enter your MLS# when you go to print.

A couple of things to keep in mind:

  • Please limit your time at these workstations to 30 minutes or less.
  • When you're done, be sure to hit the "RESET" icon on the desktop. This will restart the computer and log you out of everything.

One more thing – we don’t support Chromebooks because they don’t work well with our print drivers or antivirus software.

Keeping Your Computer in Tip-Top Shape

Here’s what we recommend to make sure your computer runs smoothly:

Operating System

  • Microsoft Windows 11 Pro
  • Apple OS 15 Sequoia

CPU

  • i5 or i7, 11th Gen or newer

Memory

  • 32GB is ideal, but 16GB is the minimum you should have

Hard Disk

  • At least 500GB, with a Solid-State Drive (SSD)

Web Browser

  • Google Chrome (it works great with your RC email!)

Note: If your laptop is older than 2 years, you might run into some wireless connectivity issues. That’s usually because the network card isn’t strong enough for certain locations.

Anti-Virus Protection

We’ve got you covered with free anti-virus protection! Realty Concepts provides Sophos Anti-Virus software to all associates. To get it installed, schedule an on-site appointment with a technician at RC Fresno HERE or by emailing help@realtyconcepts.com to set up a virtual appointment at any other RC Office.

Make sure you’re only using Sophos anti-virus on your computer – if you have any other anti-virus software, it needs to be uninstalled. Also, Sophos isn’t compatible with phones, tablets, iPads, or Chromebooks.
