As an RC agent, it’s up to you to buy and take care of your own computer, and keeping it updated is super important for your day-to-day work.

Computer Use & Technology Policy

To best serve your clients, we ask our agents to maintain a reliable laptop with updated hardware and software. We also offer a few desktop computer workstations at the RC Fresno and RC Clovis offices.

RC Workstation Guidelines

Please limit your sessions to 30 minutes, and when finished, double click the RESET icon to log yourself out and clear your data for the next agent.

Recommended Specs

We recommend the following hardware standards. Please avoid Chromebooks, as they aren’t compatible with our office printers and security software.

  • Operating System: Windows 11 Pro or macOS 15 Sequoia
  • Processor: Intel i5 / i7 (11th Gen or newer)
  • Memory: 16GB Minimum (32GB preferred)
  • Storage: 500GB+ SSD (Solid State Drive)
  • Browser: Google Chrome (Optimized for RC Email)

Basically, any newer laptop (purchased within the last 2 years) with 16GB of memory or more and a Google Chrome browser will allow you to work your best. 

Free Anti-Virus Protection

Realty Concepts provides Sophos Anti-Virus to all associates at no cost.

  1. Preparation: Uninstall any other anti-virus software before installing Sophos.
  2. Compatibility: Sophos is for computers only. It is not compatible with phones, tablets, or Chromebooks.
  3. Installation:
    • In-Person (Fresno): Schedule an appointment HERE.
    • Virtual (All other offices): Email help@realtyconcepts.com to set up a remote session.
