Cyber Security Requirements & Best Practices

Anti-Virus / Software Protection

• Every associate should install Sophos Anti-Virus on the computer they use for all Realty Concepts business. We are pleased to offer Sophos to our associates at no charge.

• Every associate should have Open DNS installed on the computer, tablet, or phone they use for all Realty Concepts business.

• Associates must use a password on any computer, tablet, or phone used for Realty Concepts business.

Email Protection

• All associates must use Realty Concepts email address for security purposes. This is for the added security of two-factor authentication, complexity, and a password policy to change passwords.

• If a public / non-personal computer, tablet, or phone is used to check email,  associates are responsible for logging out.

Data Protection

• All client & confidential information should be stored on Google Drive where it is secure and safe.

• Associates should never store client or confidential documents of any kind on their local machines.

• Associates should have some form of physical security for their desktops or laptops. A recovery system such as LoJack should be installed, so that if a computer or tablet is physically stolen or lost, associates can remotely wipe the machine or lock it from confidential information.

Ongoing Training

• All associates are invited to attend the annual cyber security trainings hosted by Realty Concepts at a Realty Concepts office each year.
