First Friends Collective

At Realty Concepts, we believe that culture and connection make all the difference – whether you’re a brand new Realtor or a seasoned pro. The Realty Concepts First Friends Collective creates a platform for agents to share their talent and energy with the next generation of the RC Family. We hope that these early connections help to foster connection and build on the amazing culture that makes Realty Concepts such a special place. 

When you sign up to be a First Friend, you are simply making a NO COMMITMENT indication that you’re willing to help. You can choose from a list of areas of need, and once we know you’re willing to help, Alyson Jansen may, from time to time, try to coordinate opportunities for you to share with a new agent or a group of new agents. 

FAQs

What if I get too busy and can’t help a new agent? 

No problem! This is a no commitment program. If we ask for you to take a meeting and the timing isn’t right, we’ll ask somebody else to pitch in!

Will I be paid to be a First Friend?

We think that tying money to the First Friends Collective makes it seem like more of a job or a chore and less like an opportunity to give back and share. Our hope is that agents will get joy out of giving back just for the sake of giving back. 

Am I going to be asked to mentor new agents if I sign up?

Absolutely not! Unlike the Guarantee Mentor program, RC First Friends will have short, one time interactions with new agents. The idea is that we’d rather have new agents hear from a lot of agents and develop relationships with a wider variety of people instead of relying on one person. We’ll know the system is working if new agents feel like they have a lot of friends who have their backs and our First Friends feel like they have confidence in their new co-workers. 

Will I be expected to problem solve and help agents with their transactions?

Nope. Think of the First Friend Collective as a way to help newbies learn how to be a successful Realtor – not as a way to help them get their deals closed. That work will be done by the agent’s manager.
