Dress Code at Realty Concepts

At RC, we do have a basic dress code. We expect everyone to abide by this simple rule:

Be smart and considerate of others.

We all know what pushes the boundaries of acceptable dress in the office. When in doubt, err on the side of caution. 

MEN | When you show up to work with the intention of working for a lengthy period of time, please come dressed in slacks, khakis, corduroys, dress jeans, or dress shorts on especially hot days. Shirts may be long sleeved or short sleeved, but casual t-shirts are not acceptable. Casual wear – such as gym shorts and shirts, casual sandals, ripped or torn clothing items, and similar wear – are not acceptable unless you are only stopping in for a brief period (15 minutes are less). 

WOMEN | If you plan to be at the office to work for a while, please come dressed in skirts, dresses, dress pants, dress jeans, or dress shorts on especially hot days. Tops may be long sleeved, short sleeved, or sleeveless, but low-cut tops or dresses are not permitted. Skirts, dresses, and dress shorts may not be shorter than three inches above the knees. Casual wear– such as athletic clothing, casual sandals, ripped or torn clothing, and similar items– are not acceptable unless you are only stopping in for a short time (15 minutes or less).

We understand the nature of this business is such that you are often doing work on the go. If you are out and about and just need to stop into the office to grab something, we allow a thirty minute grace period during which you can be out of compliance without being asked to change or leave.

If the forecast is above 100 degrees, modest dress shorts are acceptable.
